Delta Plastic trap White (with insert)
Delta Plastic trap White is a great monitoring trap that allows to make a quick estimation of Lepidoptera pests population in orchards, greenhouses, vineyards etc. This trap is easy to assemble and use, and is both durable and cost-efficient.
A target insect lure must be used within the trap, to attract the pests into the trap to land on the adhesive surface of the sticky insert, that is provided together with the trap.

Product Description
Delta Plastic trap White is a great monitoring trap that allows to make a quick estimation of Lepidoptera pests population in orchards, greenhouses, vineyards etc. This trap is easy to assemble and use, and is both durable and cost-efficient.
A target insect lure must be used within the trap, to attract the pests into the trap to land on the adhesive surface of the sticky insert, that is provided together with the trap.

How to use
- Remove the Delta Plastic trap from its packaging;
- Fold along creases to create a triangular shape, similar to a tent;
- Fasten the clasps on the top side of the trap;
- Peel off the protective film from the adhesive insert;
- Remove the lure from the aluminum foil packaging, put it on the adhesive side of the insert;
- Place the insert (adhesive side up) into the trap and fold in the sides of the Delta trap;
- Hang the trap - the height for trap placement is determined by the height of the crop plant and pest species;
- The lures in the traps must be replaced periodically to keep attraction rates high.
Positioning Density
Trap density varies depending оn climatic and biological considerations. As а rule of thumb, for monitoring purposes - 2-4 traps should bе deployed every hectare;
And for mass-capturing purposes the number of Delta Plastic trap to bе deployed varies depending оn type of pest, level of infestation etc.
Storing
Delta Plastic trap does not require specific conditions for storing. Please refer to species-specific lure for information regarding its storing.
Working Conditions
Delta Plastic trap should preferably bе deployed before the emergence of the first generation of the pest until the end of season. Decisions оn further application of pest management actions should not be taken solely оn the data obtained from capturing the pests in Delta Plastic trap. Other factors as level of incursion, climate etc should bе taken into account.
